Let’s welcome Capital Tacos to Georgia at their first location in John’s Creek, GA! They are a tex-mex restaurant, originating from Tampa, FL. Each meal is made to order, with daily prepared in-house ingredients. You have many choices of how your protein is served. They include: taco, bowl, burrito, salad, epic nachos or crazy fries. They have their own soda machine and the soda is made from cane sugar. A Peachtree Corners location is set to open in the near future. Check them out! I ate and drank: - Chicken Bacon Ranchadilla (tasty and huge) ADOBO CHICKEN and SIZZLIN BACON with side of poblano ranch for dipping - West Coast Special (Bowl) GRILLED TIGER SHRIMP tossed in a rice wine vinegar glaze, with spicy slaw, chihuanua chipotle ranch and a lime wedge (10/10) - Mini Churros - Chips and queso - Ginger ale & Capital Orange Cream (YUM!) I’ll definitely be back!

Tried Capital Tacos in John's Creek for the first time! Lots of unique flavor combinations! Quest bites were delish. The dipping sauce was great! Big Kahuna fries were also very good! Will visit again and try a new flavor!

Very nice casual Mexican restaurant..family friendly. A la carte type of menu where you pick eat your meat options, your spice options and type of entree...bowl, taco or burrito. Chips and queso was great, and my Philly cheese bowl was good. Mexican street corn was good too. The only disappointment was the drink selection. Unusual soda options and they totally messed up the ice tea options. Down south you have to get that right. Other than good location and nice place for casual lunch.

The tacos were delicious and there's a great variety. Unlike smaller street tacos these were quite filling. With each protein option you can make it a taco, burrito, bowl, salad, nachos or fries. The fries had nice seasoning and came with plenty of queso. It is a counter service restaurant so you can be in and out quickly. We were there for a mock service but we were told they would usually have someone coming around offering refills and offering service. Parking can be a bit challenging depending on when you visit.

Nice change of pace from all the other taco joints. Didn’t get to capture a photo of the tacos henhouse was really good as they were gone so fast! Don’t forget to pick up their cookies added the quarter to show scale, very tasty . Check out the pinball. Large drinks are quite large may not fit in your cars drink holder..

Food was excellent, except I asked for no peppers; I got peppers. My husband asked for no cilantro; he got cilantro. Hot chicken wasn't hot at all. This sounds bad, but the portions, cheese sip, chips, and street corn made up for everything! The mini churros and fried cheesecake was mouth-watering delish. I know they are new, which is all the more reason to get things right, and they are VERY EXPENSIVE, but if the food remains this great, I am sure they will do very well.

We have a new favorite taco place! So many things we want to try that we're having to go back multiple times! Our absolute favorite is the poblano ranch sauce served with the THE Chicken Bacon Ranchadilla and on Chicken Fajita Taco. The cheese dip is also unique here and worthy a try. Update: We have returned here multiple times and the chips seem inconsistent. Sometimes they are overcooked and always they give you too few of them to eat all of your queso
